Hi,
I had exactly the same problem with my G/F.
I agree with the other but also try the following
Ask him to be gentle with you and try and relax. Try not to think about the size as this may make you tense down there
Spend more time with foreplay esp after a quick recovery
You could always try doggy style but tell him about the pain or he may not know!!
At the point intercourse becomes painful you should stop and finish him off in other ways.
When you say large do you mean in girth or lenght?

 Hm...you do have a problem. Missionary with your legs closed does work. Another idea might be to concentrate on giving him oral (that what I do when I get faced with anyone over 7.5) until he's spilled it, then use the size to get yourself off. With a guy larger than 9 inches if the width is proportionate I can get off with a few inches inside me. The guy needs to be understanding and co-opreative though. With a big weapon comes great responsibility.
