Depending on when you had the procedure I would say, if sex is still painful you should definately go see a doctor.

You should delay sexual relations for at least one month after the procedure (your doctor should have advised you on this depending on the type of abortion you have). If you are taking antibiotics, the contraceptive pill may not work for you (if you are taking it) so be careful or else you may well be at risk of pregnancy again. If you have pain then please see a doctor as it could be the result of an internal uterine womb infection that requires treatment. You should also be checked out to make sure the cervix has closed properly or else you risk future infections. If you had an abortion a long time ago, the pain during sex could be the result of another medical complication unrelated to that procedure (e.g. endometriosis). It is therefore important that you see a doctor to have your cervix and uterus checked for obvious problems. It might also be due to the emotional consequences of a termination. Some women feel tense and worried about sex afterwards which can impair your ability to relax and enjoy it. If this sounds like you, ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist counsellor.
