I have clinical depression and not only have lost interest in sex, but I do get that empty feeling and a loss of motivation which may feel like he is tired. There is no shame in antidepressants.. he should probably go to a doctor (I think your general practitioner could diagnose or at least refer him to someone). Good luck.

the general rule is that if a person is behaving a certain way in a relationship it is often you who is responsible and your actions. ask your self this: does another person have to work to get my attention and affection or do I give everything to him for free because I am so kind and loving???if this is the situation then you could not be excersizing the part of his brain that lets him remain as interesting in sex as he used to be.
