writes: Here goes, I gave birth vaginally three months ago. I had an episiotomy and was stitched up. The thing that I have noticed now is that tampons are painful (to put in and take out) and I have a terrible time getting the tampon back out (almost like it gets stuck) and it's painful for me to have sex (almost like I'm doing it for the first time again). Has any other woman went through this? My husband thinks I'm cheating on him, because I don't want sex as often as I used to. I've told him it hurts to have sex, but he doesn't believe me, he thinks that having a baby makes sex easier. What should I do? By the way, I had only just lost my virginity when I found out I was pregnant, could that have something to do with it? Any advice from men or women will be much appreciated!

This is something you should be discussing with your doctor. Unless you are very slow healer you should be right as rain after three months. Get yourself checked out.
