writes:Hi,My wife is currently going through the change of life and for a while she has been up and down and very little sex.She recently went to the doctor and he put her on HRT, since then her sex drive has gone off. She always liked sex but now she wants it all the time before work after work and during the night.That is ok in its self (but i am running out of steam)but she does things that she has never done before, like going to sex shops flirt, talk about what she would like to do...Could the doctor have given her too big a dose or is it normal??

reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2008): I went through the menopause and it never did that to me, can i have your doctors address, only joking, everybody is different and i bet with the hormones and the HRT that was the end result. Enjoy it, most blokes would be chuffed to bits, get some more steam.

reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2008): Actually, interestingly enough, many women report increased sex drive during and/or after menopause. It may not just be her hormones, but actually her own body telling her to go go go go go! :D Perhaps you might ask for a night off because you're feeling tired when you need one.
