Everything I know about sex and STD's i know from either TV or the internet. At school I only ever had one day of sex education and drugs, that was in year 9, so i won't have been any older than 14/15, by which time I'm sure at least 1/3 of my year group would have had sex... I know for sure that one of my friends lost her virginty when she was 14, to her bf who was 16, while she was with him she also slept with at least 3 other guys (unprotected) and took no less than 10 pregnancy tests that year. But she had no concern that she may have caught something as I also know that one of those guys who she slept with is known as a player. My knowledge of STD's is not great at all, but I thought I knew enough and that I'm responsible enough to not have unprotected sex, and I always told myself that I wasn't going to have (unprotected) sex until both me and the guy had been checked out. Well that was until i met my boyfriend. I lost my virginity to him, but I know that he has slept with his last 2 girlfriends, protected, as well as unprotected. We had discussed pregnancy and stuff before, but STD's didn't even cross our minds, so I didn't think to ask him if he has been tested before.
