Are you using another form of birth control? Did you have a medical or a surgical or an emergency abortion? Were there any complications? (These are rhetorical questions, I am not actually expecting you to answer.)
This is all down to your individual case and asking a bunch of strangers on the internet who might tell you the wrong information, so that you wind up with a severe infection, is just not sensible. Sorry, but I think you do need to discuss this with your doctor.
Please take good care of your health, and if you want to avoid pregnancy in the future, doubling up on birth control methods is a good idea, so a hormonal type (the pill) plus a barrier method (condom) makes it very unlikely that you'll get pregnant.

I would wait a month or so, because you need to get on the pill at it takes a month for the pill to take full effect.I learned from my mistake..

This might sound a bit cruel, but why after having an abortion would you have sec without a condom? What if you get pregnant again? (Unless you had a medical problem?)
