Hi. I'm 18 years old and 6 months pregnant. For about a month, maybe a little more I've had round ligament pain. It's gotten so severe that at times I can't even stand up. I went to the doctor yesterday but he got called to do an emergency c-section so I had to see a different doctor. She told me that there was basically nothing I could do for the pain, but I have to go back next week to see MY doctor. She said he may be able to do something but most likely not. I don't know what to do! the pain is so bad that it's interfering with the rest of my life and I can't do anything. Does anyone know what I could do for the pain? I can't wait a week to do something about it and I may not be able to do anything at all! any suggestions?

kissxmexagainx agony auntI guess that's what I'm going to have to do. I hate hospitals but this is getting a little ridiculous and I have a very high pain tolerance. I'm going to the ER now.. wish me luck.

kissxmexagainx agony aunt I won't see my doctor until next Wednesday though. in the mean time the pain keeps getting worse and worse. Warm baths do help when I'm in them but the second I get up, the pain returns. I don't know what to do!

ArmyMedic agony auntA warm bath is often a good non-medicinal way to relieve the pain of soft tissue injuries. But if your Doctor can't prescribe anything I would be really careful taking anything that is advised here, at the end of the day your doctor has a license he can loose, we are just anonymous unaccountable people on the internet.

I agree with Satindesire speak to your doctor about muscle relaxants but I would still be cautious.
