hi

I met this guy online, we chatted for a while and then decided to meet up. we hit it off really well and decided to meet again which again was really good. He is currently in his final year at uni therefore he is really busy handing in assignments and getting ready for his exams. when i got home at the end of the 2nd date he text me saying he defo wants to see me again but he is really busy with everything but he promises me he is not usually as busy as this. Do u think this guy seems geniune?

i know i prob sound pathetic but i just keep expecting things to go wrong as i have dated a few guys bu nothing ever came of them, i have always been far to clingy and read signs wrong! can you please give me some advice as i don like this guy and i do think he likes me as well!

You dont sound pathetic! You met and liked each other but instead of things being taken up a notch you got an excuse for him being very busy. I would wonder about that too. The best thing is to just let him know you liked him but say you will leave him in peace to get on with his work. Keep dating others and just wait and see if this guy gets in touch again x

Laura1318 agony auntAppearances can be deceptive. Only after a certain period of time will you know if he is genuine .

You can give him the benefits of doubts and see if things will turn out as he promised.
