Any opinions out there? I have been dating my bf for 4 years. It's been an on off relationship, we split a few times and dated others then decided to get back together. It's also a long distance relationship but we get to meet up at least twice a month. I have noticed that when I mention I'm going out with friends or family for the night he seems to get a bit strange. He always turns his phone off all night then won't reply to my messages until the following day which I find odd. Like today he replied to my message that I left yesterday evening, I tried to reply to his but he switched his phone off again. Do you think it's because he is jealous that I'm having a good time without him or do you think it's because he wants me to feel anxious and insecure about our relationship? I just find it really odd behaviour.I tell him every day I love him. Any ideas?

probably insecure about your relationship .... i guess .. sort of how i feel about my gf ... though, i've never felt that way when she tells me she's going out with her family to do this and that.

sometimes just telling him isn't enough ... do some things for him .. surprise him with something. maybe show up at his doorstep one day and surprise him. it'll be something he'll remember easily. and maybe, just maybe, the next time you go out, he'll leave his phone on ...

also, have you spoken to him ... that you would like him to leave his phone on because you want to chat with him for a quick bit at times when you're out?
