Ive been out of a relationship for a wee while now and around a month or so ago I was set up with this amazing guy. we have gotten to know each other and i find myself really falling for him and he feels the same way... only problem is a month before we met I booked flights to go to the UK and work for a bit. My visa is for 2 years and my original plan was to go for that long. I really dont know what to do, I think its important that I do travel and see the world but at the same time everything is telling me this guy may be the one and if I go ill loose him. I would look at your options, and follow your heart but be a little practical with it too.
Talk to him about how you feel and see if he is willing to try and get work over in the UK too? Maybe you could have your cake and eat it too?
I would think about going as planned and seeing if the connection you share with him is strong enough to pull you back early or to keep him around until you return.
Life really is too short but opportunities to travel don't come up too often and neither does love, so just do what you feel comfortable with - but not in haste.
Good luck!
