However, I sometimes feel that she wants more but am not sureI would like our relationship to be more and would like to ask her out, but I am worried about losing her friendship if I have misread the situation. What should I do?

the best thing i think you should do is flirt a bit as friend s and see here reaction and talk to her and see weather she wants to stay in this unhappy relationship because you cant really ask her out while she is in a relationship. just give it a couple of weeks of just goin out as friends with the added flirting and see wat she does if she flirts back and starts flirtin more then go for it i think and if she doesnt give her some soace, good luck hope that helped
