The problem I'm facing now is that I'm now nearly scared of the idea of having sex and am worried that could mess up my relationship if she wants it. Has anyone else had a similar situation? Is there anything I can do?

If you're scared, then it sounds as though you're not ready to have sex again any time soon. If the girl you're with understands you, then she won't push for it either. Make sure you're both ready, and when you're more relaxed and feel comfortable, then you will begin to enjoy it.

First thing that comes to mind would be : don't be drunk when you have sex. Alcohol can affect both your performance and your enjoyment.
Don't sweat it anyway , first time sucks for most everybody. Practice makes perfect :)

First time sex is usually a let down so don't worry about it. It will get better the more you do it and the more you relax.
