 I will say one thing about the 1 answer in this thread.. it is unfortunate that your father found a bad seed, but do keep in mind that there may still be good seeds in the bunch that truly are looking for love or just someone to be with and not necessarily money. Though online datings services of all kind can be a bigger breeding ground for such activity, but the problem is that your father could have met someone in real life that could have ended the same way.

Hello, after reading your article I would like to explain my story of the Russian Bride.I am 19 and in Feburary 2009 my father passed away at the age of 63. In 2006 he met a woman named Viktoria from Tibilsi Georgia, in Febuary 2006 on a dating website. She was 30years old (30yrs younger than my father) and surposily a virgin. They met twice in total 3 weeks before she came over to England on a UK fiancee visa. Unfortually they married in December 2006 in complete secret with only her mother as a witness, and she was living here untill my father passed away.When she was living here, she lied to my father about her mother having breast cancer, in the last 2 years he transfered about £20,000 over to her mother by Western Union. She Didnt work, never paid for anything and she puushed me and my two brothers from the family home to look after ourselves while i was only 16 at the time.My father had a will, everything to be given to his children, there is four of us. However since he wasnt informed by his solistors who helped him get her in this country (3 visas were denied as they stated she was only her for finacial gain) he didnt update his will and now English Law steps in and the wifes are entitled to the late husbands estate. In a normal family where the mother is still with the father of the children or other way round it wouldnt be a problem as the mother naturally would provide for her children. Since we rarely even spoke to this woman she hasnt even considered us.She has said on many occassions that she is only here for finacial gain. We his children do not desearve anything from him and that we were ungratful and he didnt want us to have anything from when he died.He has over 1 million pound worth of a estate and now cause of this little mistake of marrying such a evil woman everything he has worked for his whole life is going to this woman. Not his children his blood relations.I strongly am against these gold digging Russian wives. They are con artists and they are out to steal as much as they can from lonely vunerable men.If you are reading this and considering meeting up/ marrying one please think through what I have said.Its now 8 months since he has died she didnt even come to funeral, she wasnt able to phone ambulance when he was having a heart attack as she stated she had a headache. We are waiting for her to come and kick us out the house we have lived in since I was 6 years old, waiting to sell all his property and then walk away with all our inheritance and basically making us all homeless and left with nothing. Even though we are of age to fend for ourselves he always said the reason why he work so hard is for his children so they can have a jump start in life like what his parents did for him.And the sickening thing is, we have no say what so ever.This is were the English government fails English citizens.Dont fall for the 'innocent virgin' woman of Russia, they are all conartists playing a waiting game. She only had to wait 2 years and is now walking away with about £750,000.And the sickening thing is I honestly dont understand how she can live with herself leaving four children with no parents and my fathers last two years as a complete lie. All because she took advantage of a lonely man.
