planned sex in my experience is deeply unromantic and also places you both under alot of unnecessary presure. The best sort is the sort that happens unexpectedly.
But, having said that there is some essential planning to be considered ie condoms.

Unless you're on the pill then no they're isn't alot you can do about it that I know of, but if you think about it, you'll have the main part of heavy bleeding hopefully done by then AND there will most probably be bleeding from first time sex anyways.
Tell your boyfriend and decide what you want to do together, use a condom and get a towel down and there's nothing to worry about, there's much worse things to worry about; trust me (:
This is a really annoying situation I know, i was on my period when I first had sex but it really didn't matter, when I think back now I don't even think about that part one bit, just about the actual act itself which I don't regret one bit.
Just because there's abit of blood, it doesn't mean to say it's not going to be romantic, if you really love this guy and he feels the same way, you want this night to be "the night" then don't let abit of mess get in your way, it's all abit clumsy anways so don't panik and just roll with it.
