A product called D-Mannose (a company called Waterfall does a good offering on the internet - but there are others). I swear by this stuff it is incredible for cystitis and also bladder infections. Its just a powdered sugar and you mix it with water. For me it works within hours - relief from toe curling visits to the toilet!!! You should really go to the docs if it gets bad but try this stuff if you prefer the natural approach.

TELLULAH agony auntDont know if this will help!

I used to suffer terrible from cystitis and thrush, cranberry juice just used to make it worse (aparantly in some people it can make it worse). I was told by my doctor to always drink plenty of plain water, and drink one of those tiny Pro-biotic yogurt drinks every morning, and I haven't had either of them since.

So find out what works for you and then stick to it, because once you have had it its easy to get it back.

Oh! and white wine is not good either.

Take care XX

Cheers. Not sure if I should make an appointment at the docs later maybe. Had it before and it went on its own. But I wasn't in this type of job then, and a week with this wont be fun lol

Wish I had known about the sugar thing! I was drinking cherry squash like it was going out of fashion yesterday, no wonder I had a bad night! lol

Its gonna be an uncomfortable day, and I will have to find ways to keep nipping off! Im managing to get it down to once an hour now, but I will have to make the best of it. Ive only had the job 3 weeks, and having a day off is not an option.

Just drink pleanty of water to help flush out your system. I used to get this all the time. Cranberry juice can help. But drinking lots of water is best. Unfortunately you will have to wait for your symptoms to ease ...but they will...
