writes: I am 17 and started having sex at the age of 16. I never used to have any problems with it but recently it's been really sore during sex, although I haven't had any other noticeable symptoms. My boyfriend is certain something is wrong with me and has told me he doesn't want to see me til I have been checked out. I don't think anything is wrong but he doesn't want to listen and I don't know what to do as I'm too scared to do anything. Please help Reply to this Question

Chances are it's nothing serious, go to the doctors, get yourself checked, the longer you leave it the harder it will be to actually go! Don't do it because he's telling you to either, do it for yourself, it's your body not his! Charlie x

 dear reader i'm not sure what to tell you on this sex can sometimes be sore if you have changed partner recently then he might be bigger then your last (that should give hima big head) if however you have noticed any redness or iching then i think you should see soemone it doesn't have to be your gp you can go to the chemist they will talk to you privately and recomend what to us don't leave this too long though it is quite possibley a small infection but nothing to worry aboutgood luck and don't leave it ok xxx

reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2006): its best to go to the doctors or clinic and explain everthing to them. i had a simular problem and all that was wrong was a rash a bit of cream and ull be fine but its best to be sure incase it is something else. im sure you would rather know. it may not even be you it may be him or it may be the pubic hairs irritating you
