writes: Ok i have been chatting on the internet to this girl for just over a year now...wer good mates and we live really close to each other, yet we have never met up before. Last night, we chatted again and we had an awesome night...i really like her and i think she likes me but i really dont know....cos she hasnt put out any signs that she likes me, then again neither have i...i dont know whether to say that i really like her or not...cos i hate rejection and i dont want to look silly! any advice????

Suggest meeting up with her, without mentioning anything romantic. If you've been talking a lot recently, it doesn't seem silly to continue those conversations in person. Also, while you might have the most wonderful online conversations, you never know what someone is really like until you meet them in person. You may discover that your feeling are real, in which case you can gague her feelings by the way she acts when you are physically together (which is easier than guessing from online ineractions), or you might realize that you don't want anything but a friendship or online relationship. If you've had a good time talking, you have nothing to lose by suggesting meeting for a coffee or something to get to know each other in person.
