if i could give you a gut point of view on the subject, it depend on what you have planned, if its only so your pubs don't show out of your swimmer just trim and wax about 25 mm with your smallest swimmer bottoms
if it for a guy to get something out of again trim and leave just a landing stip down to your Clxt and remove all the hair between your legs

 Well they will take off as much as YOU want - its your body after all. And that will last till your holiday is over, sometimes a lot longer, but I'm not a fan of it - you need to hang on to your hat when you have it done cus unless they changed it when I had it done, oooooouch!!!!! Good luck.
