I won't find out for a week or so. I haven't told my boyfriend I took this test..I don't want to freak him out if it turns out negative! So, what is safe and how can I continue to make love and for him not to notice a difference..until results come in? :)))

For the great majority of women, there is no reason to stop or curtail sex during pregnancy. If your test comes back positive make an appointment with an OB/GYN as soon as possible and discuss this with her/him. (If it's too embarrassing to actually ask, write out the question beforehand and give it to the Dr. They understand!)
I'm not a medical person. For a long time it was believed that intercourse could increase the chance of miscarriage in women who were already at high risk of miscarriage, but I think they have changed their minds about this. As your baby develops the Doctor will watch for the unusual conditions where it's wise to avoid sex and let you know.
Late in your pregnancy there will be some naturally imposed limitations on your sexual activities. You will probably have less energy. The press of expanding circumstances will make some positions, and some activities, either uncomfortable, difficult, or impossible. There is a good chance you will come to appreciate the "spoons" position. My wife and I have gone through four pregnancies, and each time we have made love - foreplay, intercourse, orgasms, afterglow, etc - within a day of delivery.
Sooner or later, your B/F definitely WILL be able to notice a difference, LOL! Contrary to popular belief most guys are NOT turned-off by the thought of having sex with a pregnant woman and some of us actually think pregnant women are sexually MORE desirable and attractive. People who think "pregnant" is the same as "fat" haven't looked very closely. Many women report a decrease in their sex drive during pregnancy - this may be related to a general decrease in energy - but around a third are actually hornier, especially in the early stages of pregnancy.

sex during pregnancy is fine. rough sex is ok but keep in mind there might be a baby in there. if you do wind up positive, in your 9th month be careful. it can actually send you labor if you have sex close to your due date.

sex should be safe in a normal pregnancy throughout the whole thing. as far as rough sex goes, it should be ok in early pregnancy, just not so rough that you're hurting yourself. I'm 6 months pregnant && had all kinds of sex until 2 months ago. hope I could help =]
