I have one problem, I'm debating whether to get saline or silicone... There are pro's and con's for each one but I would like to know if anyone has actually had breast implants (if so, could you tell me about it, including your choice of saline or silicone, incision points...etc) and secondly, if it is possible to message you personally for further discussion then could you please state so in your answer. Thanks very much in advance.x Reply to this Question Share |

Im 23 and have recently gotten breast implants and i have to say its the best thing ive ever done for myself. I opted to go with silicon, i am not a fan of the saline one bit, they are more prone to leaks and ripples and even sometimes you can hear "slushing" (so i was told) I went with the incision under the breast, once the boobs have settled in and have dropped appropriately with gravity, you cannot see the scar as it is inline with the crease.

Since your confident and sure about it, the best person to talk to would be an actual surgeon, or someone who has actually had them done. That way you get the best information first hand.

My wife has perfect breasts. To the point where people actually walk up to her when we're on holidays (women mostly) and ask her where she's had them done. She hasn't, they are completely natural, but she has already decided that she'll definitely have them done after our third child (we're on number two at the moment).
Like yourself she's a confident, educated, happy person (lawyer as it happens) and it's not a self esteem issue in the slightest. It just something she has decided that she would prefer (like highlights and going to the gym) and I honestly see nothing wrong with it.
Just have a natural look and most guys won't even know the difference.

Did they tell you that they will look like dried up raisins in ten years and have to be replaced?
When I want to play with basketballs I go to the gym.

My confidence is already good, I have no self esteem issues... Yes, this is purely vanity reasons, but what's wrong with wanting to change something to make it look better? Its like saying that a smart person should stop reading books to make themselves smarter... I'm well educated, confident already, and I am not some air head who needs help with self esteem... This procedure is also not for a male, its for myself so relating it to a male wanting to play with my breasts is totally out of order, for all you know, I could be a lesbian! Just for the record I am not, I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years.x

I just want slightly larger breasts and I am unhappy with my own, when I wear a bra they look fine, however when I don't,they could look better. I don't consider myself as a vain person, however, getting a boob job would be purely for vanity purposes (not a lot of people would admit to this,lol)...thanks for your in put!x

I have several female friends with them. I've asked all of them why they got them, and are they happy they did. They all said the same pretty much:
- I got them because I thought it would make me feel better and more confident about my body
- After I got them, I realized it makes no improvement to my confidence, I wish I hadn't got them really
Sounds like your mind is made up. But I urge you to ask more women with them: you may find what I found.
Also, just to let you know from a guy's point of view: men (including myself) tend not to like them because they feel unnatural. Now if I'm dating someone, and I realised she had fake breasts, it would be a big turn off. I know I'm not unusual in that regard.
