Sounds like you have some serious stage fright and your headaches are like you know you're about to go stand up in front of people, so you have almost like an anxiety attack?
I am exactly like you - hate, hate, HATE getting up in front of people...sitting down is ok (I still don't like it), but standing up? No thank you.
My advice is to practice standing up in front of people - do you have family or a group of friends that you can practice your speech to? Or just do it in front of a mirror? Are you allowed flash cards of important points you should make in your speech, so that you feel confident and comfortable enough that you know you won't forget anything? And, if worse comes to worse, you can just tell yourself that you're sitting down, presenting....kind of psych yourself out.
Good luck! :)
