For example, I'm pretty young still 28 years old.. but I love lots of hair, like a full jungle, it's soft and fluffy and like someone else mentioned, you see a glimpse of it, and it immediately makes you think of what else you have down there and so that is stimulating.
Other guys think it's gross and want a bald girl (which I think is kind of weird because only children are naturally bald down there, so what kind of weird guy wants to be with a girl who looks like a little kid). Also shaving completely down there isn't always healthy anyway, the vaginal area takes care of itself as far as cleanliness, and taking away all the hair can make the area more susceptible to infection (NOT STD's but things like UTI and Yeast infections), so some hair is better for that area.
Anyway, I'd suggest keeping things trimmed until you are dating someone and ask them what they like and you can go from there.
As far as other parts, I LOVE hair on the stomach, the part that goes from the belly button down, it's like a trail that leads down to the fun area! I LOVE that. Some women even have hair on their nipples, sometimes that can be fun to but most guys I think don't like that as much, I just happen to like it.
Best of luck and also often other women will tease or comment about it and say it's not attractive, but what do they know, the guy is the one who you should ask. lol

I am old and for me, the pubic hair was the first glimpse of a woman's private/forbidden parts. When I grew up, the pubic wars raged, the battle between playboy and penthouse about who could show what. And while pubes were allowed by then, it was still a sight. So no. I am not turned of by pubes.
Having said that, there is big difference between a trimmed bush and some girls jungle. Trimming it won't hurt or cause ill effects (same after all as a hair cut) but waxing and shaving do.
Should you shave it just because some guy can't handle what women look like? It doesn't feel right to me. But then I am a male. If a woman told me that she couldn't stand X about me, I would tell her to get stuffed. I am me, take it or leave it.
So my answer would be, as a male: Yes, some guys might be turned off. (Don't) Screw them. Choose what you ever you like, but doing anything on what some teenaged boy expects seems silly to me.

I'm not a guy, but I'll tell you that waxing hurts like bloody hell, and an epilator will rip the hair out of your pubic area one by one. What guy would do that for you?
Trimming a good alternative. It keeps you nice and neat, but doesn't subject you to pain and eventual itching.
