reader, anonymous, writes (16 February 2012): First, why don't you find some support from your girlfriends. Second, the whole lot of you could go out to his family and parents on your own and you could meet them. I don't know if culturally you can do this second one. It sounds like this guy is hedging and maybe you need to rustle up some of your male and female family members along with the same in his family to come up and say, "We want to see the girl. Bring her over." You might want to have some MEN with you are familiar on a social basic community level to come over and talk about you and your boyfriend going out to his house. Finally, I don't know if this will work---you might want to ask about getting married. I don't know anything about your culture and how people respond in certain situations there. These are the only suggestions I have for a situation that culturally I don't know enough about.
