 give it a week if still no period take another test sometimes it takes time to show up but it is a possibility that you could be pregnant.i have a two yr old and when i took my first pregnancy test after missing my period it came back negative but a week later it was positive

 Not necessarily, but to be sure wait another week and do another test again.
There can be other reasons for missing a period.
Stress, illness, changes in schedules, medication, over or under weight.
The pain could be something like a bladder infection.
If your concerned go and see your doctor.
