A male reader, anonymous, writes (15 December 2007):

You could experience hemorrhoids(piles)from excessive douching or a lot of anal sex with well endowed men. If HPV is contracted and/or treated, you could be at risk for anal cancer.

A male reader, CorpusDei United States +, writes (7 December 2007):

CorpusDei agony auntIt's possible to have rectal perforation or fissures leading to infection, as well as tearing the anus and hemorrhoids. Also possible, but less likely, is damage to the nerves that control the anus, leading to basically incontenance. Bad times, I'm telling you.

You're much more likely to cause/receive injuries of this type if you attempt anal sex without adequate preparation. Use _lots_ of lube, get warmed up, and use fingers/smaller dildos, etc, to work up to the point where something the size of a penis isn't painful. Do it carefully and all should be well.
