Pointy boobs...

Question - (28 October 2008) 7 Answers - (Newest, 26 August 2010)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm 19 and my breasts are very pointy. I'm worried that I may have tubular breasts/hypomastia. There isn't much fatty/breast tissue under my nipple, nor do i have cleavage (and even with my favorite super push-up bra, i only get mind cleavage compared to most girls). My nipples also stay soft and flat and kind of "blend in" witht the rest of my breast unless stimulated or cold. I was anorexic when I was 12, and I lost my period. I was forced into rehab though and shortly after graduating from rehab I got my period back. I thought that by 19 my breasts would have fully developed .. did i permanently stunt my breast development with childhood anorexia? Or, could my development simply be delayed (which is a lot better than having weird boobs for the rest of my life)? Or, are my breasts normal and i just don't realize it? It seems like all the girls around my age have nice round breasts, even if they are small. Mine are small and pointy. I've never really gotten any complaints but I think they look underdeveloped. Is it just me?

Yes, Victoria, I have had sexual partners, thanks Fade878 for looking out for me though :) but I didn't take your comment in a bad way at all Lance, so no worries.

It's a shame you can't buy a sense of humour on the net, Fade878.= "I've never really gotten any complaints" is the implication she's been sexually active, if you'd care to pay better attention to the post.

VictoriaK agony auntOkay, I personally would LOVE to have smaller breasts!! I am only 18, and I wear a 36 DD, and thats even getting a bit small on me. Smaller breasts mean you can do more things, You can wear cute little bikinis and be cute. If a bigger breasted woman tried to do that she would be called "slut" or whatever. You have been blessed in my eyes. When you said you've never gotten any complaints before, does that mean that you have had partners, some people seem to be a bit confused about that part. If your partners have not said anything, then I wouldn't worry about it. And like birdy said, you could go braless!! It's a great feeling to have your breasts get some fresh air, but with bigger women we dont have that, or ours get saggy :P Good Luck Keep us Posted

birdynumnums agony auntHa Ha Ha Lance!

Breasts are made of of breast tissue and ducts - the "denser" parts - and also fatty tissue. Trust me, the more fatty tissue you have, the larger they will become. Your boobs my well still gain a bit in the years to come. I think that you might be looking at a LOT of large-breasted girls, thinking that they have it made. Popular culture right now tends to put a lot of emphasis on women that have larger than life boobs, but most women come from a whole range of shapes and sizes. I have gained 3 cup sizes with 25 pounds (I was underweight as a teen) and they are still not too bad for a 53 year old who has nursed two kids. The down side? Trust me, these boobs haven't been in less than and industrial strength bra for years, and that's why they still don't hang down to my knees. My daughter is 23, and she is a C cup. She ALSO never goes out in a full coverage padded bra, with wires, that keeps her nipples covered. Frankly, if you are ALWAYS wearing them, Especially when traveling, they can be darned uncomfortable!!! That is a fact of life for any woman was born large-breasted.

You need to be focusing on the positive aspects of your figure. I had the chance to meet and talk to Debra Messing of "Will and Grace". The last thing that you would every notice is that she doesn't have a lot of cleavage, she is LOVELY, sexy and stunning. AND, because of her figure, she can wear clothes cut down to THERE without looking trampy or slutty because of that!!! And she is a dress makers dream! Clothing hangs better, and in case you haven't noticed, most models, unless they are lingerie models, do not have more than a B cup (and that would be large on a model). Another thing that larger breasted women have trouble with is drawing attention, for the WORST reasons. Whenever I wore dresses with cleavage, I met, well basically I met a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing. I learned to dress demurely in order to meet a better type of man, because large boobs can be a big calling card for the wrong type of guy. It can be really hard for a young girl to figure out why she is getting the attention and that it's for the wrong reason, especially if she has developed early. You may THINK that would be great, but I can assure you, nobody needs attention from THAT type of guy.

So, you have less chance of meeting a man for the wrong reason, you can wear great lingerie that doesn't hurt OR EVEN GO BRALESS (Hey, I grew up in the seventies) and, you will always look great in clothing! Lots of positives! Anyways, just a few thoughts that you might find relevant! XXX

By the way you talk, you have obviously had relationships so if it wasn't an issue with your partners then it sounds like it is just you being paranoid. Actually, to me small, pointy breasts sound very sexy - more so than rounded ones but hey - we're all different-looking and we all have different tastes. As a breast expert (I consider them to be womans' best physical assets) You can email me direct and send me a photo for my considered judgement.
