Hi members of DC:

I need you help please. Although it is not about love or relationship issues please respond. Here is the issue, me and my best friend or my business partner have become very close of late. Actually we do a lot of things together like best buddies do. So am just 20yrs old but he is around 29yrs. Last month but one, him and his wife were blessed with a healthy baby boy. Obviously being a best friend I should go to visit him with regards to the new born. However, am yet to go (am planning to visit on Monday next week)The is that I have no clue as to what I should take as a gift to him and his wife as a gift and also for the baby. Honestly at my age I have never visited a friend so officially to congratulate them on being blessed with a child. This being the first time to do this, I have no clue. That is why am here because I believe you people here have experience on this and would help me out.

Please help me on this. Thanks in Advance!

Am looking forward to hearing from you guys. Your responses are most welcome.

I was looking for something unique other than the obvious things around me. I think a bottle of wine, some flowers, sleepers and a card will do for the couple. That was not in my head. I appreciate your input. Thank you!

For the new parents: A nice bouquet of flowers and a card congratulating them is appropriate, but not necessary. It's really more about the baby.

aunt honesty agony auntWell use your head, what do babies need? You could buy a blanket or a teddy or a toy. Some clothes for the baby. A card for the parents that say congratulations on the birth of there baby boy. There are gift sets you can get for new born babies.

As for a present for your friend and his wife. Well maybe you could just bring a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. Nothing to major.
