writes:sorry this is long but i do need help!i am coming to the end of year 9. i have loved this year it has been an amazing time.when i go into year 10 i will have new teachers and be moved into new sets. im going to be having the same teachers for maths, art and history which is cool.but i no i wont be having the same teacher for english il be in the set higher or 2 sets higher. and i really love this teacher she is amazing.i have said to her she is amazing and that ill cry if i dont have her she knows imm serious but i said it smiling aswell like a joke.she said she would put me in her group but wont be very happy as ill be in a lower set as i should be and recieve a lower grade.i dont know what to do! whether to achieve lower scores to get into her class or just have another teacher and see her sometimes and just say hi but i will miss her terribaly.cheers xx

soulcal is verified as being by the original poster of the question hi i found out today that i have actualy got her and she said she can still help me get the grades i can achieve even if its higher than what she is teaching the class so i am thrilled!!! thanks for your help guys!! xx

it's foolishness, if you go to her set yu'll regret it fr the rest of your life, because you're only in highschool for a few more years, What would be the point in jeaprodising your results jus so yu can have a certain teacher. when chosing you're options they do tell you that you're favourite teacher, or your friends should not be a facr in your choice, and theyre right because you WILL regret it.

You should go for the higher set.
What would you rather do, give her the pleasure of your company.... or make her proud by achieving the best you can?
She cares about you and what she wants is to see you do really really well and think "Yeah, I helped her to get that."
Work hard for her and you can always stop by for a chat when she's not busy.
