It never really used to bother me that much, but ever since i've been getting deeper and deeper in this relationship with this guy i'm crazy about, i find myself only growing more and more self-conscious..personally i have no problem with my pubic hair in the upper area, cuz i'm not really a hairy person and it looks fine to me. but is it normal for hair to also grow between my bum cheeks and at the lips of my vagina? i'm realllly uncomfortable with it, and am afraid my guy or any other guy would find it a major turn off. I want it gone, but am scared to shave due to sensitivity down there, as well as waxing and laser(damn that would hurt!)so i guess my questions are: could Veet maybe work? and is this disgusting to guys??

The current girl I'm seeing sounds similar.
Her hair is very thick all along her lips and runs up her arse. I absolutely love it, it's so sexy, and sex feels sensational.
I say ask his opinion later down the track. Why bother going to all that effort prematurely when you don't even know what he thinks. In any case, if you shave it he'll still notice all the regrowth, which in my opinion is far worse.

It's easier than shaving and dealing with ingrown hairs, unsightly bumps and the awful itching when the hair grows back in. Also, compared to waxing, it's 10x's less painful and requires less $$ in the long run. I paid $135 for my Brazilian and it only required 3 trips. Totaling $405 + tax.

Of coourse it's normal, the only way NOT to have hair in those places is to shave or wax. But here's the real deal. My ex of 10 years LOVED the porn star landing strip look, no hair ANYWHERE else, just the front strip. When I started dating my current boyfriend, he on accasion mentioned he like a little hair doen there. He has a daughter (now 4 1/2) and said he likes his women to look like a woman, not a little girl. He also says it feels better with hair so it doesn't get too wet and slippery, he creates a little frictiona and that feels good to him, so for the past 2 years, I have just done a little "yard work" to keep it somewhat contained. SO, the question is, what does your guy like? Bring it up in a conversation, casually. Don't make it the entire discussion. If he doesn't care either way, do what maked YOU feel comfortable, you don't want to feel self consious during sex, you won't be able to enjoy it!

To do this get small scissors and go to the restroom and start cutting the hair until it's very short. Be careful when you're cutting it to not get too close to the skin of your vagina as for it will hurt a lot. After a time, if you want, you can start shaving it but only if your boyfriend finds it attractive since some guys like it with a little bit of hair in there. Don't be afraid of shaving and if someone tells you it's horrible, don't listen to them until you've tried it. What I do warn you, though, is that you have to be prepared and know what to do. There are videos in youtube that can explain you a proper way to shave your vagina. I personally prefer this method since it's cleaner and more comfortable, but this method is up to youFor now just trim down there and good luck!
