From what you say, it sounds like it is a date you want to ask her out on.

Try starting from the beginning - ask for her phone number or email. You may be able to tell something from her reaction. Then you can get to know her a bit better, find out what she likes doing with her time and you'll have a better idea.

You say you want to ask her out but not sound like you are on a date? Hang on that makes no sense. That's will tell her you like her as a friend but nothing more.

Ask her out on a date, don't play long winded games.

You go up to her, get her on her own, make small talk, and then tell her you'd really like to take her out. If she says ok, then suggest the cinema or something that she will enjoy.

That's it. Really.

You just have to take a deep breath and hope for the best.

The cinema is a good bet for a first date because you don't have to think of things to talk about if you are nervous and afterwards you can talk about the film.

As for getting signs she likes you... see how pretty she is when she turns up. Tell her she looks nice. You have to show her you like her and see her reaction.

You can't just hide and hope she'll do all the work. Take a risk.

Good Luck!! xx

theoneyoucancounton... agony auntfirstly, if your already friends then you could maybe ask her as a friend and take some other friends with you, this way it sounds casual.

If she enjoys the time she spends with you then maybe you should then ask her if she wants to go again just the two of you.

secondly, the best place to take her out would probably be the cinema,

make sure you sit next to her and you will be able to tell if she likes you. You can tell expecially if she leans in close to you when your sat down or touches your hand you'll no what shes feeling.

Look for signs that shes interested, for example, does she want to sit next to you if you take a bus? or does she choose to chat more to you then the other people that go with you.

Try not to be shy, be confident and be yourself and im sure you wont have much to loose. Especially not her friendship if thats all shes looking for...but you'll never no unless you ask her...

have fun wherever you choose to go with her

hope ive been of some help

best of luck

phoebe
