writes: I have been with my boyfriend for 3 months and we started having sex 2 months ago. Since then I seem to be having a lot of problems. I had cystitis twice - obviously not his fault, came from too much sex, but I've only had it once before, 4 years ago! Then I had a boil on my thigh, then another, then another - still, not his fault, again probably from too much sex/sweating a lot etc but I dont know as I have never had them before .... Then I recently got Thrush, which I've never had before. NOW just a week after the most recent boil has healed I have these small pimples on my vagina which I'm really freaking out about cos when I google it then 'herpes' comes up. Argh! I can't imagine he would have this and not tell me about it as he is really kind, sweet and mature. I am going to see a doctor on Monday but I just wondered if this could be related to the boils, or to the thrush, as opposed to being an STI...Its like a bunch of very small bumps (6 or so), near the top of my vagina lips and on the labia, not painful but quite tender and slightly itchy. Anyone ever had this and had it turn out to be something simple?? The other thing I might add is I am a bit stressed out at the moment due to exams and things and think that might be affecting my immune system, it just seems weird I have all these problems I've never had before in such a short space of time! Mostly worried about the pimples down there....

reader, anonymous, writes (11 August 2008): Please get him to check for any stds, and while your there get yourself tested. It could be the symptoms of Herpes.

Have you had unprotected sex with this guy?
If so, you will need to have yourself tested by your doctor or health clinic for STD'S and for AIDS;
NEVER put your health at risk; I URGE you to get medical advice a.s.ap. Lots of diseases do not manifest immediately;
