Someone asked me a while ago how long is my cycle and i answered 34 days however i got to thinking about it and i realised i wasn't counting the days i was actually on my period. I am counting from the day i stop my period to the day i start - is that right? Or am i really a 38 cycler? My periods last six days. Am i counting wrong or right? It doesn't matter a whole lot but clarication would be nice. Thanks.

You normally go from the day you first start your period, to the day you start your next period.
The average is 28 days for women, but that's only an average. It can be more or less with no problems at all.
Just put a red blob in your diary when you start for a few months and then count how long in between. Then you'll be able to predict the next one!
Good Luck!! xx
