writes:Okay so I am in a relationship have been for quite a while, just the other day I was due on my period, at first it was late evening, after having sex with my boyfriend it was spotting and only showing when wiping which was fine. Next day I was at my boyfriends house and I was up and down from the room to the loo every hour! It was so heavy I actually thought I was going to die (lol) and then in the evening it had stopped! So technically I was only on for one day :s this has never happened to me before so what the heck has happened? I definitely know that I can't get pregnant so I have no idea what this was about! Has this ever happened to anyone else?thanks (:

 Hmm that is strange. No idea why that would happen. Well if you are worried then seeing a doctor would be a good idea. I'm not one to rush to a doctor that's why I said I would wait to see what happens during your next period, but it's up to you.

Just never have really. It has never happened before my periods are quite regular every 3 weeks and last about 3-4 days and even then it's lightly. Just a bit weird that happened like never before :/

Ok so when was the day it was really really heavy? And have you had anything since then? You had a day of spotting then the next day was heavy and then the period ended if I'm reading correctly. Are you on birth control? When I was on birth control my period was all out of whack. It showed up when it shouldnt have and was very heavy then slow then gone for days then back randomly, until I got on a scheduled plan then it evened out. Do you ever have regular periods, like every month it's the same flow and lasts the same amount of days but this time was off? Cause if it's always irregular it probably isn't a huge deal. Personally I would wait until my next period and see how that goes before making an appointment, just because I know how it can be off sometimes for various reasons. If next month it's the same thing, lasting only one day, then maybe you should see your gynecologist.
