I don't see the problem here. Peronsally, masturbation isn't something I do or ever have done, but most men do. Most men do it even when they live with women and have sex with them. I think you should lighten up.

maybe he was stressed/emotional/needed a release but shouldnt he have been spending his time for you making sure you were ok, preparing himself for you etc.
however i wouldnt make too big a deal of it.
allow yourself to feel upset/hurt/annoyed/whatever and tell him about it so he knows. then leave it to him to make it up to you :)
