So, for the past couple weeks, Ive been hearing my neighbors going at it and its really awkward. I havent said anything, but when i see them i just shutup, its their business, but what worries me is that i am afraid that theyve been hearing us next door. Sometimes, I can get a little loud and when i see my neighbs in the hallway, I dont know if theyre looking at me as if they know or if they're being friendly. What should i do? Should i just put the pillow over my head twice a week and keep quiet during sex or something else? thanks...

Buy ear plugs and be polite. Yes, they surely have heard you too, but it's a two way street. You hear them, and you're polite, so they return the favour. You're all adults, nothing to be embarrassed about. Try having sex somewhere else if you want discretion. Such as your car, outside in the nature, get a hotel room, or the likes. Be creative.

Elsewise, let then know the noise is a bit much and could you keep it down a little. Or invest in some blue tack, makes excellent noise cancelling ear plugs.

You hear them, they probably hear you. Nothing is said because there’s not much that can be done. If you’re not wailing and screaming all night and ruining their sleep, they probably know they have no reason to complain, just like you don’t complain when you hear them getting down to business. I’d carry on leaving it all unsaid if I were you. It’s no great secret that couples have sex.
I wish you all the very best.

I second honeypies advice. It is the downside with living in an apartment block. You can hear them and vice versa. If you are paranoid then you could try tone it down a little, put on some music to drown out your voice, but other than that its best to try not and think about it, it is nothing they have not heard before.

It's life. When you live in a place with neighbors close by and thin wall there really isn't much you can do other than perhaps dial down the noise a tad (if possible).
No need to smother yourself with a pillow.
Are they looking at you because of it? Possibly. I had a neighbor who's GF who yell YEAH! about 10 time and then apparently climax and be quiet... When my neighbor told me they had broken up I couldn't help but tell him that was a relief because the who YEAH!! x 10 was... waking me up or keeping me up. He just laughed. At least their bed wasn't banging up against the wall....
It's all good and it's pretty normal.
