Whenever I have sex, if the guy goes in deep I get a really sharp pain, is there something wrong with me? Do I need to worry about this and is there anything I can do to help the pain?

I would suggest you talk to a gyno about this. They might need to take a look and help you out.

Im pretty sure you should have this check out with your Gynecologist ASAP. I dont mean to scare you or anything, butt he pain could be cause by genital warts, ulcers, or other kinds of STIs growing in the back of your vagina. A penis rubbing against the infected area could cause the pain that your are experiencing. Rule of thumb is, if sex hurts and it is not because you are too tight and he is too big, check it out with your gynecologist ASAP! Especially because it is the back of your vagina. HPV virus (genital warts) growing in the back of the vagina causes/contributes to ovarian cancer. NOW IM NOT SAYING YOU HAVE CANCER! People tend to freak out when it gets to subjects such as STIs/STDS because of the lack of education out there. You'll BE FINE! Its the 21st century, we have cures and treatments for things and chances are there is probably nothing wrong with you. But check it out with your doctor regardless just to be on the safe side.

Dont mean to scare you or anything but im pretty sure you should have this checked with your doctor. In some cases, it could be that there are Genital Warts, ulcers, or or other kinds of stds growing all the way in the back of your vagina, which could cause the pain when a penis is rubbed against the infected area. The rule of thumb is, if sex hurts and it is not because you are too tight or he is too big, you check with your Gynecologist ASAP!

But all in all, dont freak out while reading this or anything. This is the 21st century, we have cures and treatment for things and what i am saying might not necessarily be true. But check with your doctor ASAP anyways because HPV viruses that grow deep in the vagina are dangerous because they could cause/contribute to ovarian cancer.

A female reader, natasia United Kingdom +, writes (28 June 2009):

natasia agony auntIt may well be that your uterus points sort of backwards a bit (instead of pointing up, it points slightly down - and then if a guy pushes against that, it pushes the tip backwards and that makes the whole thing be pushed back, and it REALLY hurts - I know - I have to be careful because sometimes I have the same thing).

You need to be careful about what angle he goes in at, and just make sure that if it is hurting, you change it quick.

Having said that, I'm not a medical expert, and I know that it shouldn't hurt just by going deep - only by the angle. I think you would still be best also to be checked out by a doc, just to be sure. Sure it will be ok, though.
