Overly shy and can't do anything about it

I'm 13 and to people I'm not friends with I'm apparently really really shy I even have to put my hand up because miss can't hear me reply to the register I try really but it's very hard I really want to be just cool and calm. Also people laugh at me because I do start shaking when I'm nervous ( which Is alot of the time) it's not nice can someone please help me?
