She didn't know what we were doing but just stood there saying mummy, we realised almost straight away but she did ask her me what we were doing when i took her back to bed and i said nothing for you to worry about. I just don't know what to say to her, i feel quite embarrassed actually what if she asks again? Please help Reply to this Question Share |

My daughter when she was 4 or so said to me one day in a very knowing way "I know what you and Daddy do in the bedroom." I of course was very taken back and said, "Oh really?" She responded, "Yep, you were playing tag cause I heard you laughing." Now that she is 30 she still prefers to think that her father and mother only play tag in the bedroom, LOL.

When my daughter was little she done the same thing. I told her (if she heard you maaking noises) That we were playing about. I think i even told her that daddy was tickerling me. Just make it look inocent then she won't get confused.
Good luck honey x.

Well there are people who believe in being honest with their kids from the very first moment that they ask and there are those who want to protect their innocence for as long as possible. I'd say a good compromise here would be to tell her you were doing something that grown up married people do and she doesn't need to worry about it at all because it's very normal.
