reader, anonymous, writes (21 July 2009): Prostitutes are generally a lot more careful about their health than your average one night stand, especially if they're of the professional type rather than the streetwalker who's only doing it to feed a drug habit. If this one used condoms like you say I'd guess she's one of the more careful ones.
I think you can probably rest easy, but like Your Friend says, if it's really bothering you get checked out at a GU/HIV clinic to ease your mind. You'll find one near you in the phone book under the heading of Health Services.
