Be aware that a lot of men are just looking for sex and not a relationship. Never make excuses for anyone's bad behaviour ie not doing what they say, and little white lies. You can pick up a lot from how someone expresses themself even in online correspondance. Use your instincts to guide you and if warning bells sound, do not ignore them.
In particular, pay attention to how they talk about previous women in their life.
A decent man would show respect to you and allow things to develop slowly and at a pace you are both happy with.
There really are plenty of fish in the sea and there is no need to rush.
