1. Make sure you carry some condoms with you, in case he doesn't have any.
2. Get on birth control right away if you believe you're going to be sexually active, to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Pill form, the depo shot, vaginal inserts, etc. Keep in mind that it takes a bit for the birth control to get in your system.
