writes: hi i am a boy who loves a girl.we live apart but we are in contact via msn for 10 months.we have plans to meet later.the problem is that she lied about her second name.and one of her friends told me the real name.i was shocked.i searched about her adresshome in the internet and she didn t like that coz she already told me that she couldn t give it to me.she decided to break up.i m suffering now because of a small mistake.i dont know what to do.she even told me that she wants to get a boyfriend there.and that makes me ill.i wonder that a small problem can destroy 10 months of love.i hope you help me!!

reader, anonymous, writes (18 July 2006): brun I would put this down to experience. We all make mistakes when we first start dating. I remember doing some extremely foolish things with a couple of very lovely girls when I was a teenager!
Learn from the experience, move on, and know better for the next lovely girl who comes your way!

well, the only thin i can say, that you should think it over before doing something, and you probably think that that last name didnt really matter that much.
you might try get back in contact, as ive 'broken up' temporarily with my girlfriend several times, but gotten together in a day or two. although that might be hard to do, as i understand the relationship was net-based.
sometimes its better not to try and find out something about someone, which they dont want to reveal (man, especially with girls :D)
