writes:So here's how the story goes I met a guy recently who happens to be a pro athlete. We were friends via social media after a mutual friend suggested we follow each other. One year later he liked some of my posts and I reached out. Since then we've been texting sometimes through social media speaking as well and finally he asked me out to come meet him and his friends on a Friday night for a drink. Very casual but perfect and we hit it off. He invited me out to dinner Sunday evening and we also went to hang out at a club for an hour and all was well. He's totally respectful he paid for everything total gentleman. We had good discussions even opened up to me about a lot of things I thought it was not too intense but pretty paced well. Then I went back to his place for a little while we only kissed very pg and I went homeSo i didn't hear from him right away and I got nervous so I went ahead and texted and said thank you for the nice time it took him like seven hours to text me back and said thank you too but no mention of another date or anything :(Am I just being impatient? Did I ruin things already? I don't think he s a player but who knows. Suggestions?It's been like a week since that first date at the bar. Confused in Colorado.

Totally confused to and thanks for the advice people. He was nice when we texted last night but still no laid plans for the future
I thought the same thing maybe when I didn't put out he got mad idk!!
He is very busy and trying to be focused on his career so I'm wondering if that plays in. He really opened up a lot to me about somethings and it felt like he doesn't do that much. Idk being in the public eye is a confusing place to be.

 I think you have done all you can. Perhaps the spark just wasn't there for him. I think the ball is firmly in his court. Just carry on with you life and see what happens, but don't sit around waiting by the phone.

It sounds odd this has happened - especially seeing that you were getting on so well - & seeing he was treating you like a lady. Could he be ill at all or busy with work?
The only disturbing thing I can think of here is that he was treating you well in the hope of something in return - eg sex. You said you kissed him & then went home. Well maybe he was hoping for a bit more & has now got annoyed that his night didn't go as planned - but even so - he could've let his feelings be known.
I'm not really sure what is going on here - but if he has chose to ignore you - then he is not worth wasting your time on. Put it down to one of life's bad experiences!
