All other days it's a very mild scent. Is this normal?? I wash everyday and am very hygienic and clean. I'm not offended when my bf tells me this, because he goes down on me every other day but I wanted to know if it happens to other women maybe as a cause of hormone levels or something else. Thank you very much!! Reply to this Question Share |

Just your hormones. Happens to everyone, has nothing to do with hygiene.

Hi
it's exactly that. Your hormones are playing havoc onvce a month, due to ovulation. So this makes your fluids a stronger smell, amd if he is going down so to speak, it will taste stronger. This is also the time of the month that you will be most aroused. IT is very normal. If this bothers only you then make sure at this time of the month he only does the things that make you comfortable, as I know what you mean, it feels a little embarrassing. BUT if he has NO problems with this, and your ok with it then just relax. as I said it's only normal. It's normally about 2 or 3 days after this ( stronger odour) that you start your period, so this is another reason why this happens.. I hope this has helped. :) x

It's just your hormone levels, so you're okay! Things change due to menstruation or ovulation or even if the hormone flow is jogged a bit by stress or strenuous exercise. Also, what you eat can affect your smell too, so if you go out drinking for a weekend, it will affect how you smell.
Just keep mindful of what you eat or drink (garlic or alcohol), and stay hygenic, and you'll be a-okay!
