 I personally looked that up online... google is a wonderful tool. so is the urban dictionary. But to me it sounds like it's a good thing. But i guess different people can define it differently as maybe your friend is seeing it as that which the urban dictionary does have one definition saying that. there's even a song from the 50's named "Crazy about my honey dip." I don't think he means it in the bad way.
