I really liked him, and I had the feeling that he liked me, but we never ever talked because he was the 'bad boy jock' and I was the 'quiet do good girl'. He was the class a**hole, but I liked him all the same. I liked him all through senior year too, but I think he had a girlfriend that year. However, I just found out recently that he is very ill. It might sound strange, but I used to dream about him every night (obviously not on purpose, we don't control our dreams, after all). I've recently started dreaming about him all the time again, and I just find it mixing up feelings in me again. I was thinking about maybe sending him a letter, anonymously, with just a few words about how I am praying for his health? I just don't know if he would laugh or think it's stupid or how he would react. And I don't know if he is that kind of guy, who would want that?

Does he have a terminal illness?
Just make sure the tone of the letter isn't confessional...
And I don't think you should be anonymous about it either...
Otherwise, I think it's a great idea.

It is always nice to know that somebody liked/likes you! Go ahead and send the letter! I very much doubt he will laugh or think it's stupid. He will probably be really happy that someone is thinking of him. Being ill gets pretty lonely and boring, you will probably brighten his day - something that he could probably use.
You should go for it, sweet thing!
P.S. I also think you should build up some confidence and maybe even sign your name! Think about it!

well, you'll never know unless you try!!! really, you don't have anything to lose here. plus, i think that it might actually do a lot to make him feel better. everybody likes to know that they are admired, and plus, comforting words are always nice to receive whenever you're sick. besides, if you're anything like me, you'll feel SOO much better once you've let the secret slip. i definitely say go for it!!! good luck, and God bless,
