Just take it as it comes. Just remember that if don't have a natural feeling of wanting to be kissed, don't do it. If you feel as if you're going to do something you're not sure about, then most likely, you aren't ready for it - eg: kissing, penetration, sexual stuffs, etc. Hugging on the first date is fine - this really depends on what you feel is appropriate on the first few dates.
