writes: i have been on the pill for 4 months but missed my usual 11am pill on sunday so i took two when i remembered (12 hours later). i kept up my usual time but i kept forgetting because i traveled to a different time zone (but i always took them within an hour of my usual time). on tuesday and wednesday my boyfriend and i started having sex without a condom but both times, halfway through, i made him put one on (but there's the possibility of pre-cum). because i took two normal pills on sunday, i ran out of the hormone-filled pills by friday and started the placebo pills saturday. i have no sign of my period yet and i'm just wondering if i could have gotten pregnant because of all the irregularity and possibility of pre-cum. sorry for the extreme paranoia but i just realllllly don't want to have a child at this point in my life (am in school).

Honestly, I can say I have done the same thing. I freaked out about it too!!! If you think you might be just secretly go get a pregnancy test...that way you wont worry about it....Also, since you "messed" up the regular cycle of pilltaking, you could have made your period irregular and you may in fact miss it this month....thats happened to me before when I forgot to take one, especially that close to your period. All I can say is get a pregnancy test, b/c if by chance you are pregnant, it would be bad to continue the birth control........hope it helps!!!

Taking two pills at once does nothing more than taking one will do, just messes up your body. It all sounds a bit confusing to me and I think you should have used a condom if you were unsure: it's always better to be safe than sorry. However, it's done now and there is the possibility of pre-cum so get yourself to the doctors and get a test as soon as you can.
Hope it's ok and be more careful next time: if in doubt, always use a condom from start to finish!
