writes: my bf and i met in college, did the long distance thing for almost 2 yrs, broke up, got back together, broke up agian and are now back together for a yr and going strong. talking moving in together, marriage and all the long term things. however, i just started working as an RN so my hours are long and odd, and he just started back to school, along with working full time. we barely see each other (maybe once a week) and argue almost daily...is this expected? are we headed for a breakup? what can we do to make it better? btw, we are both so incredibly stubborn, and i feel like he puts all of his efforts in everything except our relationship...but he doesnt see it that way...

I would suggest your arguing is more brought on by stress and with you both being stubborn neither is willing to compromise to resolve a solution.
There is obviously something good between you to have stayed in each others lives this long. It depends on both of you to see if your relationship together is worth fighting for to keep it.
I think it can work out but you both have to work at it too. Hes not going to be in school forever so that will give him more time when he graduates.
We all need jobs to live but they are not set in stone either, working hours may change and jobs may change giving you more time together.
